The rule that pays you, and the formula that ranks you.
Money follows a verifiable click from a specific review. Everything softer only ranks. This page is the whole rule, and every number on it is read from the same constants the ledger pays by — the page cannot drift from the code.

Attribution
Follow the click.
Every positive or mixed review card carries the buy link. A click from a card credits the whole net commission of the resulting sale to that review, in full. A negative card carries its declared alternative instead (below); a negative review with no alternative carries no buy link and earns nothing from sales.
The product page carries a secondary buy button. A click from it is split equally across the reviews you liked during this session. If you liked none, it is split equally across the reviews that were on screen for at least 5 seconds. If neither set has anything in it, the sale is unattributed and stays with the platform.
The click earns the cart. Whatever the buyer purchases inside the partner’s window is attributed by the rule of that click — not only the product clicked.
A negative review may name the product its writer bought instead. That name is a buy link of its own: a click from it goes to the alternative’s offer, and the whole net commission of the resulting sale is credited to the warning reviewer. No positive reviewer’s commission is diverted.
Gates, never weights. The attended threshold is a published number. There is no weighting, no recency term, and nothing to recalibrate. When this rule changes, its version changes with it: every allocation is stamped click-v1, so an old line can be replayed beside a new one.

Clearance
90 daysA partner’s commission is not final until the merchant’s return window closes and the gateway confirms it. Attributed commission sits in your accrued balance — visible immediately, not yet payable — for up to 90 days, then moves to your available balance, which is what gets wired. Where a partner clears sooner, its own date applies.
A returned purchase lands as a reversal against the same allocation it came from, never as a deduction from something else. The ledger is append-only: corrections are new lines, not edits.

Tiers
Your A-to-E tier is a derived property: recomputed daily per review from three inputs over a trailing 90-day window, as a percentile within the review’s category. Tiers rank; they never touch money.
- sales — sales confirmed through this review’s link (card or alternative), not reversed.
- readers — distinct reader sessions that attended the review, by the same 5-second gate used for attribution.
- likes, dislikes — signed-in votes. Dislikes are hidden on the page and present in the formula.
conversion = (sales + k·m) / (readers + k) m = category median conversion, same window k = published shrinkage constant · 20 helpfulness = (likes + 1) / (likes + dislikes + 2) score = conversion × helpfulness tier = percentile of score within the review’s category A top 10% · B next 20% · C middle 40% · D next 20% · E bottom 10% unrated until 100 attended readers or 30 days, whichever comes first- Shrinkage k

Provisional: set once after the first month of data, then held stable. Any change is versioned and announced on this page. Tiers go live in Phase 1.
The only way up is to convert the readers you get and to be marked helpful by them. Inflating your own readership lowers your own conversion; a review with three readers and one sale does not become an A, because k pulls it to the category median until it has earned its own number.

Best-of order
Each category’s best-of page is ordered by one published formula over its products’ published reviews. Nothing editorial, nothing paid.
order = (likes − dislikes) + ln(1 + reviews) likes, dislikes = signed-in votes on the product’s published reviews, summed reviews = published reviews on the productTies: more reviews first, then title.
Provisional until tiers ship (Phase 1); then the order is the tier order above. Dislikes are hidden on the page and present in the formula, as in the tier formula. Provisional

What a click records
Every buy link on Weiver is a click-out through our server. The row it writes:
- a unique token
- the reader session
- the kind: card, page, or alternative
- the review and its current version, for card and alternative clicks
- the product and the offer
- a snapshot of the liked and attended review ids, for page clicks
- the signed-in user, if there is one
Every sale the partner reports against the token joins to this row. Every allocation cites the sale. Every ledger line cites the allocation. That chain is what you audit, and because the rule is public you can also check that it was applied.

Self-clicks and rate limits
Your own sessions are excluded from attribution. A click from the account that wrote the review pays nobody — the reader still reaches the store; no allocation is written.
One attributable click per session, per product, per day. A second click on the same product from the same session on the same day goes through to the store as usual, but is not attributed.
Partner claw-backs land as reversals against the original allocation. Velocity anomalies are reviewed by a person. The gateway’s own fraud policing runs upstream of ours and is stricter than ours.
Every number on this page is rendered from the same constants the attribution job and the ledger run on. Current rule version: click-v1.
